Students are also encouraged to participate in external innovation platforms and competitions such as Buildathons, Ideathons, Hackathons, and the Smart India Hackathon (SIH), which provide exposure and opportunities to validate and improve their ideas.

Students with promising ideas are given further guidance and feedback by the EDC team to help them strengthen their concepts and explore possibilities for startup development. The EDC team continues to mentor and follow up with these students over the subsequent years to support the development of prototypes and progress toward viable startup initiatives.

In cases where students wish to pursue their ideas further, the institution also facilitates incubation support to help them move toward establishing their startups.
